The Patrina T. and Reginald B. Newman Scholarship Fund 2025-2026

We believe that one of the best ways to invest in the lives of young people is to provide educational
opportunities. Our goal is to ensure that every successive generation will be better than the one that
preceded it.

A check in the amount of ($1,500.00) will be awarded to the 1st Place Recipient, and the 2nd Place Recipient
will be awarded ($1,000). We are encouraging all seniors who meet the criteria to apply, particularly
young men. These funds will be awarded through The Patrina T. and Reginald B. Newman's Scholarship
Fund. The checks will be disbursed in 3 increments.

Application Deadline
All applications must be submitted to the Church Office by Sunday. March 29, 2026, or via email
NewmanScholarship1@gmail.com. All applicants will be notified of their selection. Date is to be Announced.

The requirements for this scholarship are as follows.

• Applicant must be a member in good standing at Fountain of Faith Church for a period of
one year at the time of the scholarship award.
• Applicant must be active in a ministry.
• Applicant must write a three-hundred (300) word essay on "How My Education Benefits
the Community."
• Essays must be typed, double-spaced, and submitted by Sunday. April 12, 2026.
• Applicant must have a minimum of a 3.0 high school G.P.A. at graduation.

Applicant must submit final high school transcripts no later than Sunday, May 10,
2026 along with a copy of your college acceptance letter in a full-time college or
university before a scholarship is awarded.
