FOF Scholarship Ministry 2025
At Fountain of Faith Missionary Baptist Church, we encourage our youth to reach their full potential by word and deed. For over 32 years, Fountain of Faith Scholarship Ministry has been charged with providing financial assistance to graduating high school seniors who plan to attend college.
We promote academics, ministry, and community outreach through the FOFMBC Scholarship Award. To date, each scholarship applicant has received financial assistance to attend a 4-year college or university. Over the years, scholarships have ranged from $200.00 to $1,000.00.
Applicants who submit all required materials and attend required events will receive financial assistance for college expenses through the 2025 Fountain of Faith Missionary Baptist Church Scholarship Award.
Application Deadline. Applications are available online HERE. All applications must be submitted to the Scholarship Ministry no later than March 2, 2025. Applications can be submitted online.
Requirements. Applicants for the 2025 Fountain of Faith Scholarship Award must:
• Be a high school senior graduating in 2025
• Be a member in good standing for at least one (1) year at the time of receiving the scholarship
award.
• Complete eight (8) hours of Community Service (opportunities exist at the Fountain and
and/or the community)
• Participate in a Ministry at Fountain of Faith
• Actively participate in fundraising events benefiting Scholarship Award Applicants.
Submit a 90 second or less video to be used for a showcase (date to be determined)
Video should include:
1. Name
2. Name of High School
3. Extracurricular and/or Community Service participation
4. College you plan to attend
5. Degree you plan to pursue
Participate in a Showcase
Students are required to participate in the showcase. Students will be responsible for setting up a table in the church vestibule that showcases their school, activities, accomplishments and future plans (showcase date to be determined)
Complete Application Packet. A complete application packet includes:
• Completed application
. 500-word essay (Subject- What Steps Will You Take In Your Career To Help Support Others?
• Unofficial high school transcript
• Acceptance letter from a four-year college or university
